House Rules
Anglesea's House Rules keep things running smoothly and ensure a relaxed experience for everyone.
Payment for your accommodation will be taken at check in when possible. We require a valid credit card for incidentals and a security bond. We have the right to request payment for your accommodation in advance at our discretion.
While we all like to enjoy a good celebration, we encourage our guests to keep noise to a minimum after 9.00 pm, as other guests may be enjoying an early night.
All rooms are non-smoking and non-vaping rooms. Please do not smoke or vape in your room or inside the hotel. We have a smoking courtyard located just outside of the hotel for your convenience. A service fee of $550 AUD applies to rooms where a guest has been smoking or vaping. If at any time the fire alarm is activated from a guest smoking or vaping in a room, an additional fee of $550 AUD will apply.
Our hotel rooms are built tough, however please be careful with our fixtures, furniture, keys, televisions and coffee machines. There will be a charge for any damage.
Please remember that all Garde rooms have a two-person maximum occupancy, with the only exception being the Warder’s Family Courtyard Cottage which has a four-person maximum occupancy. Should additional guests stay in the rooms, we will ask them to leave. Before 9.00 pm and after 7.00 am we ask that visitors or unregistered guests wait to meet you at Gimlet Bar. This ensures the safety and security of all our guests.
We require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations, so if you need to check out earlier than expected, let our guest services team know as soon as possible to avoid cancellation fees.
The Garde is not responsible for items lost or misplaced in the hotel. For security, personal safes are provided in each room.
The Garde reserves the right to charge a guest’s credit card if the booking agent’s prepaid voucher is not honoured or paid in full.
The Garde may charge a $220 AUD bond upon check in.
All American Express payments will incur a 2% surcharge fee. VISA and Mastercard payments will incur a 1% surcharge fee. Efptos payments will incur no additional charges.
